Looking for a Nevada Sales Person. Must be at least 18 years old. Thursdays from 10 am to 2 pm. Lunch included. Call 780-425-8625
Looking for a Back-desk Reception Person. Must be at least 18 years old. Thursdays from 12.30 pm to 4 pm. Lunch included. Call 780-425-8625 Volunteers are the spirit and soul of our centre. You do not have to be a senior or a member to volunteer in a number of short-term or long-term positions available. We are located on the ground floor of the General Hospital site and provide free parking to our volunteers.

Outreach Volunteers Needed for isolated senior companionship

Volunteering gives you a chance to share your skills or learn new ones, to meet new friends and to contribute to the community. We could not do what we do without our volunteers.

Blankets for Canada
Greeter VolunteersA Greeter Volunteer is responsible for welcoming guests to the centre. Greeter Volunteers will also be responsible for handing out Centre brochures and any other materials necessary.
Greeter volunteers will need to be comfortable taking direction and working unassisted. Reports to The Centre Assistant Volunteer Duties and Responsibilities: • Provide information to visitors with respect to programs, workshops, membership, volunteering, and the thrift shoppe. • Wear identification • Welcome all guests to the Centre, introduce them to others, show them the art, coffee, back desk, etc. • Be warm and welcoming Skills and Qualifications: • Must be responsible, reliable, and punctual • Exudes an outgoing and pleasant attitude • Outgoing personalities who are enthusiastic at welcoming and facilitating visitors with in the centre • A professional and positive approach to volunteering • Able to read and understand information and answer visitor’s questions Time Commitment: Various Shifts: Monday - Friday 10am-1pm |
